Privacy Policy

This policy explains what kundaligpt.ai (“we”, “us”) does with information relating to you when you use this website. We have tried to keep it short and specific rather than long and defensive.

The short version

The birth details you type into the matching form are processed entirely inside your own browser. They are not transmitted to us, not written to any database, and not visible to anyone but you. We could not disclose them if we were asked to, because we never receive them.

Birth details and your chart

Your birth chart is computed entirely inside your own browser. Drawing it sends nothing over the network — names, dates, times and places are held in memory for as long as the page is open and discarded when you close or reload it.

The AI chat is the exception

If you use the AI chat, your birth details and your question are sent to our server, which recomputes the chart and passes the resulting placements and your question to our AI provider so an answer can be generated. We do not store the conversation, the chart or the birth details after the response is returned, and we do not build a profile from them.

We count requests per IP address in memory to enforce the daily free-question limit. That counter holds an IP address and a number, nothing else, and it is discarded when the counter resets or the server restarts.

Information we do collect

• Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records requests: IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser user-agent and the referring page. These are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse, and are retained for a limited period before deletion.
• Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which pages are useful. Where we do, it is configured not to track individuals across sites and not to build advertising profiles.
• Email. If you write to us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to deal with it.

Cookies

We do not use cookies to identify you or to serve advertising. If we later add anything that sets a non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with the service providers who host and operate the site, and with the AI provider that generates chat responses — in both cases only to the extent they need it to do that. We will disclose information if required to by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to certain processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Since we hold very little, most requests are quick to answer. Write to our contact page to make one.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
